BKFC founder David Feldman has confirmed that Triller has officially acquired a majority stake in his organization. While it may not exactly be everyone’s cup of tea, BKFC has served as an important combat sports alternative in the last few years through their bare-knuckle boxing style. The likes of Paige VanZant, Chad Mendes, Mike Perry, Paulie Malignaggi and more have all entered the ring for the promotion, amongst a variety of other recognisable names from the landscape of boxing and mixed martial arts.

He’s now explained the sudden change in course. ‘The Nightmare’ departed from the UFC last year after a roller coaster 15-years in the company. Sanchez was inaugurated into the UFC Hall of Fame as a part of the ‘Fight Wing’ for his bout with Clay Guida. Sadly, the legend didn’t get the sendoff he expected.

After weeks of anticipation, Chad Mendes finally made his return to the combat sports sphere for BKFC’s KnuckleMania 2 event on Saturday night. The wrestling machine-turned-striker was able to dominate opponent Joshuah Alvarez, eventually securing a TKO stoppage in the wake of several impressive knockdowns.

Mike Perry has spoken out after a successful bare-knuckle boxing debut against Julian Lane. The buildup between Perry and Lane had a lot of pre-fight antics. Former UFC title challenger Chad Mendes will make his BKFC debut at tonight’s KnuckleMania 2 event opposite Joshuah Alvarez. Mendes (18-5 MMA) has not competed in combat sports since suffering a TKO loss to Alex Volkanovski at UFC 232 in December of 2018. During his fourteen-fight UFC career, Chad Mendes accumulated a record of 9-5 which included stoppage wins over Myles Jury, Ricardo Lamas, Clay Guida, Darren Elkins and Cody McKenzie.

Ahead of his BKFC debut, Chad Mendes has revealed that he’s still signed to the UFC. Mendes retired from MMA in 2019 following a loss to Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 232. During his eight year stint in the UFC, he was considered amongst the most entertaining fighters in the promotion. He also challenged for gold on three different occasions, coming up short against Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor.

Mike Perry and Julian Lane had their press conference for their BKFC bout this weekend. During the event, ‘Platinum’ pulled out a bat during a scuffle with his opponent.. The scuffle wasn’t the first time that the two sides clashed in public. In December, Perry was shown on the broadcast as a guest commentator after his singing to the promotion. Lane threw a water bottle at the former UFC talent and insulted him. Almost immediately, Perry jumped into the crowd and began brawling with Lane.

Jordan Nash had his BKFC fight stopped due to a gruesome eye injury. Nash, who is 2-0 in bare-knuckle, was fighting Noah Cutter on the BKFC Tampa card on Thursday night. It was his second fight in BKFC as his first bare-knuckle fight took place on the Toe the Line promotion. Following that showing he was quickly elevated to BKFC. However, his fight against Cutter did not go his way as he suffered an eye injury that stopped the fight and is hard to look at it.
