Canelo Alvarez vs Daniel Jacobs Fighter Salaries Revealed
Canelo Alvarez and Daniel Jacobs will square off in a middleweight title unification bout this evening in Las Vegas, and both men are set for huge paydays.
Alvarez (51-1-2, 35 KO’s), who recently signed a massive 365 million dollar deal with DAZN, will earn 35 million for his efforts this evening.
Meanwhile, Daniel Jacobs (35-2, 29 KO’s) will a disclosed $2.5 million the official purses from Nevada. However, it is expected that Jacobs will earn more than $10 million due to his guaranteed money from DAZN.
The news of the main event fighter payouts won’t likely sit well with Nate Diaz, as the former UFC title challenger voiced his frustration regarding being “stuck in a cage” earlier this afternoon.
In tonight’s co-main event, Vergil Ortiz Jr and Mauricio Herrera will each take home $75,000.
