Manny Pacquiao to announce the last opponent of his career

By Russell Ess - December 8, 2015

The date has already been set. April 9, 2016, one of boxing’s greats in Manny Pacquiao will fight for the last time. However, the opponent for Pacquiao’s supposed final fight in the boxing ring remains unknown but is expected to be announced on Friday, according to ESPN’s Dan Rafael.

Leading up to this point, Timothy Bradley and Terence Crawford have been the most speculated opponents for Pacquiao.

Bradley and Pacquiao would make for a rubber match. Bradley won a highly controversial decision back in 2012 at the height of Pacquiao’s career. Pacquiao would get redemption and go on to win a decision in their second fight in 2014.

A match with Crawford gives fans something fresh. Crawford is a rising boxing star from Omaha and is the WBO junior welterweight champion. This fight would present a bigger unknown and give fans something much more new to see. However with Bradley and Pacquiao’s first two fights ending in decisions, it would give the warriors one last chance to stamp a decisive win with a stoppage.

Who would you rather see the “Pacman” battle in his last show in the ring?
