Oscar De La Hoya arrested for DUI

Unfortunate news has surfaced that legendary boxer, and Golden Boy Promotions CEO Oscar De La Hoya was arrested for DUI around 2am on Tuesday night in Pasadena, California after police officers pulled him over for suspecting he was driving while intoxicated.

TMZ broke the story, which revealed that De La Hoya was released later to his manager after being taken into custody and charged with DUI. Tragically, this isn’t the first time De La Hoya has dealt with substance abuse. In 2011, De La Hoya made a brief statement in which he revealed that he would be undergoing treatment for alcoholism. In 2013, De La Hoya revealed once again that he would be undergoing treatment for alcoholism.
