The photo sparked conversation about the former champ making the jump to MMA. Khan then revealed in an interview that not only was he thinking about making the jump to MMA, he wanted to fight UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor in an MMA fight. While the idea of Khan making the jump to fight McGregor in the Octagon has some MMA fans drooling, former UFC heavyweight Brendan Schaub thinks the matchup doesn’t make any sense. While Pacquiao has stated that he is retired, Golden Boy Promotions VP Eric Gomez wanted to work out a deal to bring Pacquiao out of retirement to fight Canelo Alvarez.
