While Deontay Wilder has stayed on the sidelines, Anthony Joshua has notched two wins inside the boxing ring in 2023. However, their plans for a Saudi Arabia clash in December were blown up earlier this summer due to financial demands.

Many have suggested that the two promotions could work together on the bout and put on a monstrous co-promotion.

There, Logan Paul easily outboxed his fierce rival for six rounds, barely getting hit by the former Bellator star. In round six, Dillon Danis was disqualified after attempting a takedown and guillotine on the YouTuber.

Last month, Tommy Fury was able to defeat KSI via decision in their boxing showdown in Manchester. It took his professional record to 10-0, and it came eight months after he was also able to pick up a win over Jake Paul. In the eyes of Fury, and many others, that now makes him the king of crossover boxing.

The Brazilian has been out of action since a title defense against Cat Zingano at Bellator 300. That night in October saw Cris Cyborg dominate, and claim a first-round knockout win. Following the victory, the featherweight champion discussed a return to the boxing ring, where she’s been competing since last year.

Last scoring a knockout win over Robert Helenius last Fall, Deontay Wilder has been out of action for over a year. However, the former boxing champion has been in talks with Francis Ngannou for a potential bout in the cage.

It’s certainly a lesser-known name than we’re used to seeing him face, but even with that being the case, it does feel like an interesting step forward for ‘The Problem Child’. August is 10-1 as a pro with his most recent victory coming over Brandon Martin back in the summer.

Sean O’Malley is currently expected to face ‘Chito’ once again at UFC 299 in March, for the first time since 2020. That year, the Ecuadorian scored a first-round stoppage win over the future champion after he suffered an injury.

The two headlined an ESPN pay-per-view offering, with Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou in the main event. Despite the boxer heading into the matchup a massive favorite, it didn’t look that way on fight night.
