Former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping confirmed that Team Jake Paul previously made him an offer for a boxing match. Bisping, who is one of the UFC’s regular color commentators during its Fight Night broadcasts, has been retired from MMA for a few years now after suffering an eye injury that ended his career. Since then, we have heard no indications that he would even consider stepping back into the cage or into the boxing ring. But then again, money talks, and right now, whoever fights Paul is in line to make a lot of money.

YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul trolled UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman with a photoshopped picture of the Jose Caceres submission loss. Paul and Usman have been going back-and-forth on social media as of late, with Paul challenging Usman after he finished Ben Askren in boxing, and with Usman responding by accepting the challenge after he knocked out Jorge Masvidal at UFC 261. According to Usman’s manager Ali Abdelaziz, a pay-per-view boxing match between Paul and Usman could do upwards of 3 to 4 million PPV buys, so both men have some interest in it.

Billy Joe Saunders says the issue with the ring size for his fight against Canelo Alvarez on Saturday has been resolved. Saunders and Alvarez were set to fight at AT&T Stadium in a unification bout of the super-middleweight titles. It was a fight many fans were eager for as it would be a tough test for the Mexican. Yet, on Tuesday, it was revealed the size of the ring was an issue as an 18-foot ring was installed, not the 24-foot ring expected. That forced Saunders’ dad, Tom, and team to say they are out of the fight.

Chad Johnson to make boxing debut on Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul undercard

“Ochocinco” is going from the gridiron to the ring. Joining in on the circus, Chad Johnson is now set to box on the Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul undercard. ESPN confirmed on Monday that the former NFL star will be competing at the June 6 event in what will be an exhibition match consisting of either four or six rounds. The opponent has yet to be determined. The event goes down in Johnson’s last NFL stomping ground, the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida.

Triller is continuing to go after people who illegally streamed their Fight Club event on April 17 between Jake Paul and Ben Askren. Triller recently came out and said they were filing a lawsuit seeking $100 million in damages from illegal streamers. Now, the promotion is taking it one step further suggesting that anyone who illegally watched Jake Paul vs. Ben Askren can pay the $49.99 price tag for the event. In exchange, those individuals’ names will be removed from lawsuit, which seeks a $150,000 penalty from every person who pirated the card.

Former heavyweight boxing champion Andy Ruiz Jr. survived a second-round knockdown and went on to defeat Chris Arreola via unanimous decision. Ruiz Jr. hadn’t fought since December 2019, when he dropped a unanimous decision to Anthony Joshua in their rematch. Since that time, Ruiz Jr. has taken his conditioning a lot more seriously than he used to earlier in his career, having dropped over 50lbs in preparation for this bout against the veteran Arreola. Ruiz entered the fight as a gigantic -2000 betting favorite and while he did end up getting his hand raised by unanimous decision, he had some sketchy moments during the fight including getting knocked down.

Silva is one of the greatest MMA fighters of all time and he also has professional boxing experience, having had two fights over the course of his legendary combat sports career. In June, Silva will return to the boxing ring when he takes on Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in what is his first boxing match since 2005. For Silva, he has been boxing for over 20 years and has always made it known that he wanted to return to the squared circle one day. He will get that opportunity next month when he takes on Chavez Jr. in a pro boxing match.

Despite not having a boxing background, Paul has become one of the sport’s pay-per-view stars following back-to-back wins over Ben Askren and Nate Robinson on Triller Fight Club pay-per-view. Although Paul doesn’t get a ton of respect from those in the combat sports community, it’s hard to find fault in how much money he is making for himself and for his opponents. According to “The Problem Child,” the pay-per-view with Askren sold over 1.3 million pay-per-view buys, making everyone involved in that show a ton of money.

Despite turning 55 years old in June, Tyson is still in tremendous physical shape and he showed in the Jones Jr. fight that he still hits hard. That’s whay he wants to challenge himself and step back into the ring for another fight.
