VIDEO | Alistair Overeem Thinks Conor McGregor Could Survive More than 1.5 Rounds If They Fought

Conor McGregor is one of the best fighters on earth. Yet having spent most of his UFC career as a featherweight, he also resides on the smaller half of the UFC roster. That means that, despite all his talent, he probably wouldn’t stand much of a chance against the behemoths of the UFC heavyweight division.
In a recent interview with Fox Sports’ Jay and Dan, however, UFC heavyweight Alistair Overeem made a somewhat surprising admission. During the show’s Over/Under segment, Overeem was asked whether he thought McGregor would survive over or under 1.5 rounds in the cage with him. His answer? Over.
That’s right, Alistair Overeem believes McGregor, a fighter he would tower over and outweigh by over 50 pounds, would last longer than a round and a half if they were to fight.
Do you agree with Overeem, or his he giving McGregor too much credit? Sound off, PENN nation!
