Bruce Buffer was excited to see the UFC returning to Canada in 2024, and Toronto for that matter. Buffer has been to plenty of countries, where he has introduced several fighters inside of the Octagon. Buffer knows no matter where the UFC goes the crowd is always loud and electric, but the voice of the UFC says Canada, and especially Toronto, is always one of the rowdiest and loudest crowds of the year.

Bruce Buffer is interested in seeing Logan Paul face Paddy Pimblett in the UFC. Paul has expressed interest in fighting in MMA as he has a wrestling background and also has some boxing fights. He also gets along with Dana White and recently asked to fight Paddy Pimblett inside of the Octagon.

Bruce Buffer was ecstatic when he heard that Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler would be the coaches of TUF 31. McGregor and Chandler are set to coach TUF 31 and fight later this year in a massive fight for the sport. It will also bring new eyeballs to TUF, including Buffer who admits he hasn’t watched TUF in a bit but will be tuned into every episode to see what happens.

Bruce Buffer always thought Jon Jones would fight again. After Jones vacated his light heavyweight title after his win over Dominick Reyes in February 2020, he said the plan was to make his heavyweight debut. However, three years went by without him fighting, but Buffer always expected him back.

Bruce Buffer doesn’t plan to retire anytime soon. Buffer first worked for the Ultimate Fighting Championship, at UFC 8 in 1996, and 27 years later, he is still the voice of the Octagon. Although in 1996, the UFC was not as big as it is now, he says he pushed to get the job as he had a feeling the UFC could become the biggest thing in sports.

UFC Octagon announcer Bruce Buffer provided a positive health update after missing UFC 267 due to testing positive for COVID-19. Buffer is typically the man on the mic in the Octagon during the UFC’s numbered cards, but for the first since in 25 years, he will be missing a numbered UFC card. The reason is that Buffer recently tested positive for COVID-19. He has been feeling under the weather and, as much as he wanted to be in Abu Dhabi, he had no choice but to withdraw from the card.

Bruce Buffer’s historic streak of calling UFC numbered events will end. Buffer will miss UFC 267 in Abu Dhabi on Saturday after contracting COVID-19. MMAJunkie first reported the news he wouldn’t be the Octagon announcer and at the press conference, White confirmed Buffer had COVID-19.

Buffer has been the lead UFC ring announcer for many years, but he is a man of many hats and has numerous other ventures outside of the Octagon. One of those is his Cameo page, as fans can hire Buffer to record audio and video clips with sayings of their own. Well, it turns one out fan took it to the next level and decided to enlist the services of Buffer to help him dump his girlfriend in the most savage way.

UFC announcer Bruce Buffer paid tribute to Anderson Silva by taking a knee for the legend in his final fight with the promotion. “The Spider” stepped into the Octagon for the final time on Saturday night as he was beaten in the fourth round by middleweight contender Uriah Hall. The two men embraced after the bout with Silva offering Hall some words of advice in a real “passing the torch” moment.

“The Veteran Voice of the Octagon” Bruce Buffer is fantasizing about a Conor McGregor vs. Georges St-Pierre fight — even if he thinks it’s just a pipe dream. Conor McGregor hasn’t fought since his historic loss against Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229. He vacated the Octagon after tapping out in the fourth round and hasn’t returned since. He is, however, in frequent communication with Dana White and is looking to return for the right opportunity. Buffer believes that McGregor needs to earn his spot in the rankings again.

In the first bout of the stacked UFC 235 main card last Saturday, former UFC bantamweight king Cody Garbrandt stepped into the Octagon with dangerous Brazilian contender Pedro Munhoz. The goal for the fighter they call “No Love” was to rebound from a pair of knockout losses to reigning champion TJ Dillashaw. Unfortunately for the former champ and his throngs of dedicated supporters, things did not go the way he planned. Mid-way through the first round, Garbrandt found himself rattled by an inadvertent head butt, and in a dazed frenzy, abandoned strategy in favor of a wild slug fest. The two bantamweights began strafing each other with massive punches — many of which landed — until Garbrandt was face-down on the canvas.
