Nate Diaz Joins Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather’s Social Media Beef
Over the last few months, there has been an eruption of buzz surrounding undefeated boxing legend Floyd Mayweather’s possible move to MMA. Of course, the chances of Mayweather actually moving to MMA seem almost non-existent, but the boxer has been having some fun playing with the idea on social media anyway, and his arch rival Conor McGregor has not shied away from getting involved in the conversation.
Mayweather’s latest MMA-related social media post occurred over the weekend, when he posted a photoshopped image of himself elbowing Conor McGregor, inside an MMA cage, clad in TMT-branded MMA gloves.

“Certified Killa vs Certified Bitch,” Mayweather said in the caption for this Tweet.
McGregor then fired back at his rival with typical promptness and venom, sharing an unedited image of himself elbowing Nate Diaz in one of their 2016 bouts.

Now, Diaz himself has joined the fray, reminding McGregor of the outcome of their first bout in a similar post.
“Real kill in real war,” Diaz said in his post.
In his first bout with Conor McGregor, Nate Diaz won by submission in the second round, forcing the Irishman’s hype train to a skittering halt. In their second fight, which occurred just months later, McGregor earned a bit of vengeance, defeating Diaz by majority decision.
McGregor and Mayweather, meanwhile, boxed in August of 2017, a little more than a year after McGregor’s second bout with Diaz. Mayweather won this blockbuster bout by 10th-round stoppage.
