UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor earned a majority decision victory over Nate Diaz in a welterweight bout which headlined last night’s UFC 202 event in Las Vegas. According to a report from MMAFighting, the Irish superstar made a disclosed $3 million for his victory over “The Stockton Slugger”. Nate Diaz apparently earned $2 million for his efforts.

UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor scored a majority decision victory over Nate Diaz last night in a welterweight bout which headlined UFC 202 in Las Vegas. UFC president Dana White had stated prior to yesterday’s fight that McGregor would return to featherweight or vacate his 145-pound belt win or lose following his rematch with Diaz.

Yesterday at the UFC 202 weigh-ins, the MMA community collectively agreed that Conor McGregor looked to be in phenomenal shape ahead of his UFC 202 rematch with Nate Diaz Saturday night. McGregor stated that throughout this camp he has focused on his cardio so as not to gas out in the first round. In the photo below, you can see a comparison of McGregor at the UFC 196 weigh-ins, compared to McGregor at the UFC 202 weigh-ins. It is important to note that McGregor weighed-in at 168 pounds at both weigh-ins.
