To kick off the year, Floyd Mayweather offered Conor McGregor $15 million to fight him in a boxing match, which UFC President Dana White quickly shot down as he countered Mayweather with an offer of $25 million for both men. ‘Money’ quickly laughed off White’s offer, saying that he would not fight for less than $100 million.

After months of conflicting rumors and reports, Georges St-Pierre has finally agreed to the terms of a new contract with the UFC. That means we’re likely to see the former welterweight great and bona fide MMA legend back in the cage sometime before the end of the year. On Wednesday’s episode of BJ Penn Radio, Canadian middleweight Elias Theodorou weighed in on the return of St-Pierre with host Kinch. Mayweather started the year by offering McGregor $15 million for a boxing match, which UFC President Dana White was quick to counter with an offer of his own, offering the undefeated prizefighter $25 million to have a boxing match with Mayweather. Mayweather was quick to laugh off the offer, reiterating that he wouldn’t fight for less than $100 million. McGregor initially remained silent on the matter before revealing in a pay-per view interview that he and Mayweather must sit down in the same room to negotiate if they hope to see the fight become official.
