10 fighters who have been hit in the head the most while standing
If you had to guess, who would you say has gotten hit in the head the most while standing and trading strikes in the UFC, WEC and Strikeforce?
According to @fightnomics, Sam Stout lands at the top after receiving 562 strikes to the head while standing. Stout hung up his gloves after losing to Frankie Perez at UFC Fight Night 74 back in 2015.
Four active UFC fighters take spots two through five as Diego Sanchez, Frankie Edgar, Donald Cerrone and Brad Pickett are listed respectively. UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler who fights this Saturday could possibly jump up from number seven on this stat sheet after his scheduled five-round title fight with Tyron Woodley.
