Thursday morning however, Jones appeared in front of a judge, who ordered him to attend anger management training, driver improvement courses, and get permission from his probation officer before getting behind the wheel of a car.

We reported yesterday morning that former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones had turned himself in to the Albuquerque PD, this after he received five traffic citations that had violated his parole sentence. According to new reports from both Ariel Helwani and Marc Raimondi, “Bones” is still in jail and has a hearing in front of a judge scheduled for 8am tomorrow morning (March 31).

At Wednesday’s NSAC hearing, UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier expressed his concern over Herb Dean being the referee for his UFC 197 light heavyweight title fight with Jon Jones on April 23rd. Cormier explained that in the pair’s first meeting at UFC 182, Dean allowed the pair to remain clinched for what DC believed was an extended period of time. After Cormier voiced his concerns over Dean being the referee, the NSAC ultimately decided to leave Dean as the referee.
