Jorge Masvidal blasts UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping

Following his victory over Marc Diakiese at Friday’s TUF 25 Finale event in Las Vegas, undefeated lightweight Drakkar Klose took to the microphone where he stated the following:

“No disrespect to Michael Bisping, but all English guys are bums!”

Klose would later apologize for the remark at the TUF 25 Finale post-fight press conference saying that he “just got caught up in the heat of the moment”.

With that said, perennial UFC welterweight contender Jorge Masvidal used Klose’s statement to take a serious shot at the UFC’s current middleweight champion of the world Michael Bisping.

Jorge Masvidal was most recently seen in action at May’s UFC 211 event in Dallas where he suffered a razor close split-decision setback to top contender Demian Maia.

Prior to that, “Gamebred” had put together a three-fight win streak which saw him score TKO victories over Jake Ellenberger and Donald Cerrone as well as a decision win over Ross Pearson.

Jorge Masvidal is expected to fight former two-time welterweight title challenger Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson later this year.

As for Michael Bisping, the current UFC middleweight champion was last seen in action at October’s UFC 204 event where he earned a hard fought decision victory over MMA legend Dan Henderson in Manchester, England.

Prior to that, “The Count” was coming off a first-round knockout victory over Luke Rockhold at UFC 199 which earned the brash Englishman the UFC middleweight crown.
