Don’t expect to see Holly Holm vs. Miesha Tate 2 going down at UFC 300 in April. The historic card is expected to include a lot of high-profile matchups, and fighters. Already, bouts such as Aljamain Sterling vs. Calvin Kattar, and Jiri Prochazka vs. Aleksandar Rakic have been added to the card. Furthermore, names such as Conor McGregor have also been linked to the event.

Former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Miesha Tate has explained why she wants Holly Holm next. ‘Cupcake’ returned to the win column over the weekend against Julia Avila at UFC Austin. Entering Saturday’s matchup with ‘Ragin Panda’, Miesha Tate admitted the fight could be her last. However, the former champion got a dominant rebound third-round submission win.

That was Miesha Tate’s first down at flyweight, and she quickly announced plans to return to bantamweight post-fight. That loss to ‘Lucky’ put the former champion at 1-2 since her 2021 return.
