Nate Diaz aka "King Nate Dog" says Dustin Poirier is scared of him

Adam D Martin - March 31, 2021

UFC welterweight superstar Nate Diaz took to social media to take another shot at Conor McGregor and he also took aim at Dustin Poirier. Diaz and Poirier were supposed to meet at UFC 230 in November 2018 but “The Diamond” was forced to pull out with injury. They never ended up meeting, but after Poirier defeated McGregor at UFC 257 in January, Diaz suggested that the fight to make was him against Poirier. However, that fight never happened, either, as McGregor and Poirier will run it back for a third time this summer at UFC 264. Diaz, meanwhile, was recently booked for his comeback fight against Leon Edwards in the co-main event of UFC 262 in May in Houston.

Nate Diaz claps back at Conor McGregor: "Try not to get finished again"

Adam D Martin - March 31, 2021

UFC fan favorite Nate Diaz clapped back at promotional superstar Conor McGregor, telling him to “try not to get finished again.” It was revealed on Tuesday evening that Diaz will be returning to the UFC on May 15 at UFC 262 in Houston, Texas when he takes on Leon Edwards in a No. 1 contender fight in the UFC welterweight division. On Wednesday, McGregor took to his social media to suggest that the promotion creates a “McGregor belt” for his upcoming trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July, clearly a jab at the “BMF belt” that Diaz and Jorge Masvidal fought for at UFC 244 in November 2019. That, in turn, led to Diaz taking to his social media and clapping back at McGregor and poking fun at him for getting finished.

UFC 262: Chandler vs. Oliveira is absolutely stacked following addition of Nate Diaz vs. Leon Edwards

Harry Kettle - March 31, 2021

UFC 262 is looking like one of the most stacked cards of the year – especially after the addition of Nate Diaz vs Leon Edwards. The news broke overnight that Diaz will be returning to the Octagon in order to face Edwards in what could, essentially, be a No. 1 contender fight. Diaz probably wouldn’t have earned the right to call himself that just based on one win alone, but that’s the nature of his unique position and star power.

Vicente Luque calls out Nate Diaz following submission win over Tyron Woodley

Adam Martin - March 28, 2021

UFC welterweight contender Vicente Luque called out Nate Diaz following his first-round submission win over Tyron Woodley at UFC 260. Luque picked up the biggest win of his UFC career to date when he submitted Woodley in the co-main event of UFC 260 with a D’arce choke. It was a wild fight for as long as it lasted, with Woodley landing a big punch early on that rocked Luque, only to see the Brazilian come back and hurt Woodley on the feet before taking him to the ground and finishing him by submission. It’s the kind of marquee win that Luque needs in order to fight the upper echelon of the UFC welterweight division as he continues to march towards the title. But before a title shot comes, Luque wants to take a money fight against Diaz first.
