Justin Golightly - September 15, 2017
After dipping his toes into boxing and making millions, Conor McGregor is expected to return to fight inside the Octagon once again. The thing about McGregor though, is that he’s unpredictable. Of course, he could change his mind and keep boxing, or just shrug it all off and stay in Ibiza admiring gigantic boats. What is predictable, is how big a third fight with Nate Diaz could be. Daniel Cormier is the latest to weigh-in on the match-up and thinks that it’s something the UFC needs to make happen. https://twitter.com/UFCONFOX/status/908486982191288321

Tom Taylor - September 14, 2017
Now that UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor‘s anticipated boxing match with Floyd Mayweather Jr. is in the rear-view, the world is eagerly awaiting the details of his next fight. The most likely option for McGregor’s next fight seems to be a trilogy fight with Nate Diaz, who he is 1-1 against across two unforgettable 2016 battles. Diaz won the pair’s first fight, shocking the world by submitting the Irishman in round two. McGregor won the second, picking up a majority decision win over Diaz in a tooth-and-nail, 2016 Fight of the Year contender.

Conor McGregor is being sued for his UFC 202 bottle-throwing incident
Tom Taylor - September 11, 2017
Back in August of 2016 – now well over a year ago – at a press conference for UFC 202, Conor McGregor and his opponent Nate Diaz got into a heated confrontation. This confrontation reached a hectic crescendo when McGregor and Diaz’s team got into a strange firefight, whipping water bottles and energy drink cans at one another from opposite sides of the David Copperfield Theatre in Las Vegas, Nevada. Unsurprisingly, the sanctioning Nevada Athletic Commission was not particularly thrilled with this rather juvenile bottle battle. After months and months of proceedings, McGregor was handed a $25,000 fine and given 25 hours of community service for the debacle. Diaz, meanwhile, was fined $15,000 and given 15 hours of community service.

Tony Ferguson Goes Completely Off on 'Fake B*tches' Nate Diaz and McGregor
Justin Golightly - September 7, 2017
Tony Ferguson has never been the kind of guy that holds anything back. He’ll walk into anywhere, shades permanently on his face, and speak his mind to anyone. If you’re not careful, he may start to demonstrate some new hybrid breakdance combat move that he invented right in front of you. He was in rare form though, speaking to the guys at Submission Radio while driving en route to a secluded training camp. Tony Ferguson was asked about Conor McGregor’s return and Nate Diaz, then fire emoji came out of Ferguson’s mouth one after another. “[Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor] are a bunch of b-tches. They want to go and they want to talk – look, we can f-cking put this sh-t out on video and we can make this a money fight. If you guys really wanna get gangster, let’s do that sh-t. If you want to f-cking put on money, let’s put it on paper. Nate, I will f-ckin’ Stockton slap the sh-t out of you, kid. You don’t f-cking know me, dude. Straight up. Same thing with Conor McGregor. You guys are a bunch of b-tches, and you guys are a bunch of fakes. If you wanna’ fight while we’re here in the UFC, why don’t you come and sign on the dotted line after you get your sh-t together and defend your f-cking belt, Conor?”

Tom Taylor - August 31, 2017
Shortly after his thrilling boxing match with Floyd Mayweather Jr., Conor McGregor and his team began expressing interest in a trilogy fight with his fiercest rival, Nate Diaz. This trilogy fight, McGregor said, would have to be in the 155-pound lightweight division, rather than the welterweight division where the pair’s first two battles occurred. He believes it’s going to take a significant pay boost to get Diaz back into the cage with the Irishman.

Nate Diaz Trolls a Picture of a Black-Eyed Conor McGregor
Justin Golightly - August 29, 2017
It didn’t take a fortune teller or a “Mystic Mac” to know where Conor McGregor was most likely headed after his fight with Floyd Mayweather: Towards a trilogy fight with Nate Diaz. To be honest, McGregor could have his pick between anyone in three UFC weight classes or a return to boxing against Paul Malignaggi. However, if he keeps his promise and returns to the Octagon at the end of this year, Conor McGregor’s next fight being the younger Diaz brother is highly likely. Nate Diaz knows it too, at least it seems that way with how he’s been talking on social media. Training partner and friend of Conor McGregor, Dillon Danis posted the latest pic of McGregor on his instagram brandishing a fresh black eye at the hands of Mayweather. It didn’t take long for Nate Diaz to log on and type a single, all-encompassing word into the comment section.

One year ago today, Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz put on an unforgettable show (highlights)
Tom Taylor - August 20, 2017
Today, UFC superstar Conor McGregor is gearing up for a foray into the boxing world, as we’re now less than a week away from his headline dominating showdown with Floyd Mayweather. On this day last year, McGregor had his hands full with a very different challenge: a rematch with the only man he’s lost to in the UFC, Nate Diaz. McGregor and Diaz’s rematch headlined UFC 202, which went down inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Unlike their first fight, which saw McGregor blow an early lead to succumb to a second-round rear-naked choke, this fight was as close as they come.

Nate Diaz Defends McGregor Against Boxing's 'One-Dimensional' Clowns
Justin Golightly - August 19, 2017
As soon as Nate Diaz was announced to fight Conor McGregor back at UFC 196, we all knew it was going to be something special. It was the first time McGregor’s trash talk would bounce off of someone. There wouldn’t be any getting in Diaz’s head, he would only shrug, curse and go on a rant about the type of ninjutsu he was going to do. It would be the start of a rivalry between the Stockton soldier and that loud-mouthed Irish yakuza that would make the UFC a lot of money, as well as generate respect between both fighters. A respect that has seemed to last, considering Nate Diaz just recently had a whole lot to stay about boxers and their criticisms of McGregor to TMZ. “Now all the boxers are criticizing Conor like ‘Conor will get embarrassed’, but that’s a real arrogant thing to say. Wanna’ know something that’s even more embarrassing? If Floyd fought Conor in an MMA match, it would be more embarrassing than if Conor fought Floyd in a boxing match. [Floyd] would get mounted and laughed at, and slapped around [and Conor] would smile at the crowd and wave.”
