While former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey may not have given any indications as to whether or not she will officially retire any time soon, the MMA community has continued to speculate as to whether the former champ would return to the Octagon or not. After suffering the first defeat of her professional career at UFC 193, Rousey returned to the Octagon in the main event of UFC 207, where she dropped a 1st round TKO to Amanda Nunes in a failed bid at recapturing her title.

Former UFC women’s bantamweight champion and transcendent MMA superstar Ronda Rousey has not been seen in action since she was bludgeoned to a first-round TKO loss by reigning champ Amanda Nunes in December. This layoff was preceded by an even longer one, as the former champ spent more than a year on the shelf after her next most recent fight, a shocking, head-kick knockout loss to Holly Holm. While we have seen Rousey return from long layoffs before, it seems unlikely that she’ll return from this latest hiatus. Speaking to ESPN on Monday, UFC President Dana White assured that Rousey is probably done fighting.

Prior to the couple going on their vacation however, the pair’s house in Venice, California was robbed by local skateboarders, who were caught on camera. Rousey’s period of silence was followed by a statement from UFC President Dana White, who revealed that he was confident Rousey was likely done fighting.
