MMA Community reacts to Rose Namajunas vs. Joanna Jedrzejczyk 2

A women’s strawweight title fight rematch between current champion Rose Namajunas and former title holder Joanna Jedrzejczyk served as the co-main event of tonight’s UFC 223 fight card in Brooklyn, New York.

The former champion, Joanna, put forward a terrific effort but it was not enough to dethrone Namajunas.

After twenty-five minutes of back and forth action Rose Namajunas received a unanimous decision victory form the judges in attendance (49-46 on all three cards).

By all accounts, Namajunas was very shaken up by the bus incident earlier this week. She was asked to stay at the arena to talk to police but decided to leave and walk back to the hotel. Just wanted to leave. There was fear she wouldn’t fight.

And then she fights like that.
