Former interim UFC welterweight champion Colby Covington took some time out of his evening to throw some shade at fellow 170-pound fighter CM Punk. After MMAJunkie shared a photo of the former pro-wrestling world champion turned MMA fighter being in attendance at tonight’s UFC on FOX 31 event in Milwaukee, ‘Chaos’ took to Twitter with the following statement directed at CM Punk.

For a brief moment, there was an end to when we would have to stop waiting for Dominick Cruz to return to action. Unfortunately, that wouldn’t last very long as yet another injury postponed his storied career. Having been set to return at UFC 233 on January 26 against John Lineker, a shoulder injury threw the fight into question and after the card’s cancellation as a whole, it appears that the fight won’t be rebooked. At least anytime soon.

So that’s the one I’m hoping for,” he said. “He’s got a fight next, that could get lined up perfectly. So if he wants to do it, I would love to fight a legend like Diego Sanchez. It’s the one I want the most so it’s the one I am pushing for.”
