Conor McGregor is backing Dillon Danis in his boxing debut. It was announced on Tuesday that Dillon Danis will make his boxing debut on Oct. 14 against Logan Paul in England. It is a massive fight and one that had been worked on in the past but never came to fruition due to Paul suffering a knee injury while wrestling.

Sean Strickland is insinuating that he will be fighting Israel Adesanya for the middleweight title at UFC 293. While initially it looked like an Adesanya vs. Dricus Du Plessis (20-2 MMA) was in the cards, after the latter’s TKO victory over Robert Whittaker (24-7 MMA) at UFC 290, then came the announcement that ‘Stillknocks’ was injured and wouldn’t be available to fight in September.

Cory Sandhagen has said he’s spoken to UFC president Dana White following his uneventful win over Rob Font last weekend. On Saturday night in the main event of UFC Nashville, Cory Sandhagen defeated Rob Font via unanimous decision. It was a dominant performance and win, but it wasn’t particularly exciting. A lot of fans and pundits criticized Sandhagen, but the contender did eventually note that he was suffering from a torn tricep and a bicep injury.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship’s most recent pay-per-view event was, by all accounts, a success. The promotion put on another fantastic card, headlined by Justin Gaethje knocking out Dustin Poirier to win the BMF title. In addition to that, we also saw a parade of other fun match-ups, setting us up for even more entertaining collisions in the future.

In the main event of UFC Nashville, top-10 bantamweights met in a 140lbs catchweight fight as Cory Sandhagen took on Rob Font. Sandhagen entered the scrap coming off back-to-back wins over Marlon Vera and Song Yadong in precious fight night main events. Prior to the back-to-back wins, Sandhagen had lost two in a row to Petr Yan for the interim belt and a controversial split decision to TJ Dillashaw. Font, meanwhile, snapped his two-fight losing skid last time out as he scored a first-round knockout over Adrian Yanez.

It was just this past Saturday, August 5th at UFC Nashville, that saw Rob Font (20-7 MMA) get defeated by Cory Sandhagen (17-4 MMA) via unanimous decision. The catchweight main event result, while very positive for ‘Sandman’, has also left the fighter injured and in need of surgery.

Cory Sandhagen has given a response to those upset by his UFC Nashville performance. Sandhagen went one-on-one with Rob Font inside the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee on August 5. Sandhagen was expecting to meet Umar Nurmagomedov, but Umar suffered an injury during training. When it was clear that Umar was out of the fight, Font got the call to fill in.
