Former UFC title challenger Nate Diaz intends to return to MMA after his fight with Jake Paul. The Stockton native has been out of the cage since a fourth-round submission at UFC 279 last September. With the victory, Nate Diaz became a free agent for the first time in over a decade. Following the win over Tony Ferguson, the former title challenger announced his intention to head to boxing.

Heading into the scrap, Sandhagen is a sizeable -370 favorite while the Puerto Rican is a +265 underdog on FanDuel. Given Font is taking it on short notice as he was supposed to fight at UFC 292 in two weeks, the majority of pros expect Sandhagen to get the job done at UFC Nashville by decision.

Conor McGregor has recently called out Justin Gaethje, despite coaching the latest season of The Ultimate Fighter with Michael Chandler. While the Irishman made headlines with the callout, ‘The Highlight’ hasn’t shown much interest in the bout.

Ahead of his return, UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev has taken aim at Michael Chandler. The Russian has been out of action since his clash with Alexander Volkanovski in February at UFC 284. There, the two champions put on a show, going back and forth for 25 minutes. At the conclusion of the five-round contest, Islam Makhachev retained the lightweight gold by unanimous decision.

He also said he would auction off his fight kit so he could help fund the building of a water well in his native village in Zimbabwe.
