UFC fighter Renato Moicano has ripped into Nate Jennerman for crying on the first episode of the new Ultimate Fighter season. The 31st season of The Ultimate Fighter is upon us as Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler battle it out as head coaches. Conor will be leading a group of prospects, whereas Chandler will be coaching the veterans. On the first episode, Roosevelt Roberts kicked off proceedings by knocking out Nate Jennerman in just 10 seconds.
Justin Gaethje says UFC 291 fight against Dustin Poirier will be "25 minutes of hell"

Justin Gaethje knows his UFC 291 fight against Dustin Poirier for the BMF belt won’t be easy. Gaethje and Poirier are set to rematch in the main event of UFC 291 and although ‘The Highlight’ lost the first time around by fourth-round stoppage, he says he won’t be watching the first fight. ‘The Highlight‘ believes both he and ‘The Diamond’ have evolved as fighters since that first encounter five years ago and thus watching the old tape won’t do him any favors. However, he’s still preparing for an all-out war on July 29, as he knows their rematch will be a dog fight.

Daniel Pineda wasn’t sure if he was going to fight again after his UFC San Antonio win. Ever since they fought, many fans have clamored for a rematch and the two will now meet again in the main event of UFC 291 on July 29 in Salt Lake City, Utah for the BMF belt.

Strickland is coming off a decision win over Nassourdine Imavov and is currently ranked seventh at 185lbs. However, his next bout will come against the unranked fighter who has just one fight and win inside of the Octagon. When he was offered Magomedov, Strickland says he had no idea who he was and thought he was a no-name.

Belal Muhammad says he sees similarities between Khamzat Chimaev and Conor McGregor. Khamzat Chimaev has not been beat in the Octagon, but the fighter has not fought since September of 2022 when he defeated Kevin Holland (24-9 MMA) by submission at 2:13 of round 1.

Poirier (29-7 MMA) and Gaethje (24-4 MMA) will meet in a five-round main event on Saturday, July 29th at UFC 291 which take place at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. The two will be fighting for the ‘BMF’ (Baddest Motherf**ker) belt.

Michael Chandler has claimed that the UFC cut out his reply to Conor McGregor during their opening exchange on The Ultimate Fighter. Earlier this week, the first episode of The Ultimate Fighter officially aired. It begins the TUF journey for McGregor and Chandler, with the expectation being that the two will collide towards the end of the year. When they do, it will mark Conor’s first appearance inside the Octagon for over two years.

In the main event of UFC 287, Adesanya was looking to reclaim his middleweight title against Alex Pereira after being knocked out by the Brazilian back in November to lose his belt. It was also the third time Adesanya had lost to Pereira, as they previously fought twice in kickboxing with ‘Poatan’ winning once by KO and the other by decision.

Jared Cannonier is open to being the first-ranked middleweight to fight Khamzat Chimaev. Chimaev has not fought since last September when he submitted Kevin Holland in the first round – but he badly missed weight, which resulted in the opponent change. Since then, he hasn’t got a fight booked and although there are rumors of him facing Kamaru Usman next, if that doesn’t happen Cannonier thinks he and Chimaev would be a fun fight.

UFC commentator Joe Rogan is heaping praise on interim featherweight champion Yair Rodriguez. Yair Rodriguez (15-3 MMA) has been victorious in his last 2 bouts in the Octagon. In July of 2022 he defeated Brian Ortega (15-3 MMA) via TKO at 4:11 of round 1. More recently, on February 11th at UFC 284, he took down Josh Emmett (18-3 MMA) by submission at 4:19 of round 2, capturing the interim featherweight title.

Marlon Vera is vowing to ‘finish’ Cory Sandhagen in their eventual rematch. Vera (20-8 MMA) and Sandhagen (16-4 MMA) met up in March of this year in a bantamweight bout at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas. It was to be ‘Sandman’ getting the win via split decision (50-45, 49-46, 48,47).
