Kyle Daukaus is glad to put the Kevin Holland controversy behind him now that he’s picked up another win. In the co-main event of UFC Vegas 48, Daukaus submitted Jamie Pickett in the first round. Kyle dominated the fight from start to finish and it’s a performance he is happy with.

UFC 269 on December 11, 2021, featured Amanda Nunes vs Julianna Peña in the much anticipated Women’s bantamweight title fight. Nunes (21-5 MMA) vs Peña (12-4 MMA) was to end in a submission loss in the second round for Nunes. After surviving the opening round with ‘The Lioness’, Peña turned up the intensity in the second round. For many it was a shocking defeat for Nunes, some branding it the most shocking loss in UFC history. Nunes’ unprecedented 12-fight, seven-year undefeated streak ended that day.

Dillon Danis has taken to Twitter to respond to Michael Bisping after he suggested he would “stomp on his head” in a street fight. Dillon Danis, (18-16 MMA), is a jiu-jitsu black belt and MMA fighter from New York who last fought at Bellator 222 back in June of 2019, defeating Max Humphrey (3-3 MMA).

Micheal Gillmore always planned on dropping to welterweight. Gillmore competed on The Ultimate Fighter 29 where he was an alternate on the show. He quit his job to be an alternate and got his shot on short notice but suffered a stoppage loss to Gilbert Urbina. He then got a short-notice fight against Andre Petroski in his debut and suffered a submission loss.

Henry Cejudo seemingly has no interest in any sort of Israel Adesanya vs. Jon Jones superfight. ‘Triple C’ believes that ‘Jones’ would crush his long-time rival, and literally kill him if they fought. The two champions have gone back and forth over the past few years. ‘The Last Stylebender’ intended to eventually move up to challenge ‘Bones’ for a 205-pound grudge match. However, the proposed superfight has been postponed as a result of Jones’ impending move to the heavyweight division.

Jon Jones has taken to Twitter to say his story is far from over and he is preparing to make a heavyweight run. Jones, (26-1 MMA) normally competes in the light heavyweight division of the UFC and has lost only once during his run. That loss came during a matchup with Matt Hamill (12-8 MMA) back in December of 2009 and was by disqualification due to elbow strikes.
Chad Mendes claims he made more in his BKFC debut than he did for fighting Conor McGregor at UFC 189

Chad Mendes made his BKFC (Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship) debut last weekend, February 19, 2022. Mendes scored a knockout win over Joshuah Alvarez in a fight that lasted four rounds. Mendes is still under contract with the UFC but got permission to compete in the BKFC bout. ‘Money’ last fought in the featherweight division at UFC 232 back in December of 2018. That fight resulted in a loss by KO to Alexander Volkanovski.

Green is coming into the bout on only ten days’ notice but has done a great job promoting it. The longtime fan-favorite has made his name by trash-talking in general, but especially in the cage. ‘King’ became a COVID-19 sensation for his audible trash-talk that was heard in the empty UFC Apex.

Dominick Cruz seemingly has an idea for a return to the cage, thanks in part to Petr Yan. ‘The Dominator’ would like to face former UFC featherweight champion, Jose Aldo. In December, following Cruz’s victory over Pedro Munhoz, ‘No Mercy’ suggested that the former champion face Jose Aldo. The Brazilian moved down to 135-pounds in 2019 after a stint at featherweight that saw him claim WEC and UFC gold. Aldo is now currently riding a three-fight winning streak after losing to Yan at UFC 251.
