Chael Sonnen is taking to his social media platform to encourage fight fans to rally behind Beneil Dariush to get another UFC main even slot once he’s recovered from his injury. Beneil Dariush (21-4 MMA) was scheduled to fight Islam Makhachev (21-1 MMA) at UFC Vegas this coming weekend, Saturday February 26th. However, due to an injury sustained while training, Dariush had to pull out of the fight.

Chan Sung Jung, aka The Korean Zombie, has expressed gratitude to Henry Cejudo for his help during training camp for UFC 273. The featherweight title bout at UFC 273 will see The Korean Zombie challenge Alex Volkanovski for the right to be called champion. While Max Holloway may have be the first choice to get the shot, TKZ isn’t worried about that – and instead, he’s focusing on the task at hand.

UFC lightweight Beneil Dariush is still weighing up his options regarding the treatment he’ll receive for a broken fibula. This Saturday night, Beneil Dariush was supposed to lock horns with Islam Makhachev in a de-facto number one contender fight at 155 pounds. Both men are riding impressive win streaks and as such, it made sense in the eyes of many for the winner to move on and face the champion for the belt later this year.

Jon Jones was caught headbutting a police car during his arrest in Las Vegas back in September. On Tuesday, the Las Vegas Review-Journal obtained police bodycam footage of Jones’ arrest where he headbutted a police car (at the 3:09 mark) and reportedly left a “medium-size dent” and chipped the paint. During the arrest, Jones is heard calling one of the officers a “nerd” and asked “A black man can’t drink?” as he accused the officers of racial profiling.

Johnny Walker vs Jamahal Hill met at UFC Vegas 48 this past weekend, Saturday February 19th . It was to be a devastating knockout loss for Walker in the very first round. Walker (18-7 MMA), came into the fight having lost three of his last four fights in the light heavyweight division. Hill (10-1 MMA) was coming off a knockout win back in December of 2021 against Jimmy Crute (12-3 MMA).

Michael Bisping isn’t happy with EA Sports over his power rating. In a Q&A on his YouTube channel, Bisping was asked about his power being ranked the same as Colby Covington’s in the UFC 4 video game. The Brit obviously wasn’t happy with EA Sports decision, as he believes he is a much harder hitter than Covington and it’s showed with both of their careers.

Jessica-Rose Clark has issued a lengthy statement following her submission loss to Stephanie Egger at UFC Vegas 48. Clark suffered a first-round armbar loss on Saturday night, a defeat which snapped her two-fight winning streak. It was a tough loss for the fan-favorite and after the loss, she took to Instagram to release an 11-minute video talking about the setback. For Clark, she says performance anxiety played a big role in the loss.
