The situation allegedly began when Oliveira’s ex-wife took their son to the fighter’s father’s house. Oliveira reportedly showed up drunk and wanted to take his son for a ride on his motorcycle. His ex-wife denied this request, at which point Oliveira is alleged to have pulled her hair and hit her in the face.

The local police told G1 that Alex Oliveira even broke the door of his father’s home and left the location with his son. A few minutes later, he went to his sister’s house, left his son with her and took off. At the time of this publication, the Brazilian welterweight has not yet been located by police.

Unfortunately, this is not the only one situation Oliveira was involved in on that day. The 31-year-old fighter allegedly started a fight with security guard at a party. He reportedly threatened the security guard, who went to the police station to press charges against the fighter.

Those two cases are currently being investigated by the local police from Tres Rios, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Alex Oliveira has been charged for three crimes — assault, insult and threat.
