VIDEO | Finish him! Daniel Cormier channels his inner Sub-Zero
Any fan or player of video games, especially fighting video games, will know about the Mortal Kombat series.
On April 23, the 27-year-old franchise will drop Mortal Kombat 11 which will be available for all major gaming platforms/consoles (PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Microsoft Windows).
In preparation of the game’s release, the Because Science YouTube channel did an experiment to test out the science and effectiveness of some of the kills in the game.

But who would be portraying Sub-Zero in the experiment? None other than current UFC heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier, of course.
It’s believed that this year will be the last of Cormier’s legendary career in MMA and it’s safe to say that he won’t be short on options when it comes to his post-fight opportunities.
Already doing work as a commentator for UFC events every now and then, Cormier was also working the desk as an analyst on Fox Sports 1 prior to the ESPN deal.
Currently recovering from some injuries, it doesn’t look like Cormier will end up retiring by his desired date which is his 40th birthday on March 20.
Since his last fight at UFC 230 when he earned a second-round submission victory (rear-naked choke) over Derrick Lewis, both UFC President Dana White and Cormier have let it be known that there are probably only three options left for the champ before he calls it quits.
Those being the former heavyweight champion who Cormier defeated to get the title, Stipe Miocic, current WWE Universal champion, Brock Lesnar, and the current light heavyweight champion and longtime foe of Cormier’s, Jon “Bones” Jones.
For any of those possible opponents’ sake, let’s just hope that DC doesn’t have Sub-Zero in his corner.
