VIDEO | 40-year-old Floyd Mayweather shows off physique ahead of Conor McGregor fight
The massive money fight between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor is just about two months away.
With both fighters training for the boxing match, we got a look at the 40-year-old Mayweather and his physique after coming out of retirement with his last fight taking place in 2015.
While many from the world of boxing are not giving Conor McGregor much of a chance of winning, Mayweather is 40-years-old. Boxing analyst Max Kellerman believes that even at the age of 40, Mayweather will still literally be untouchable in the ring against McGregor. Kellerman went as far as to claim that McGregor will not land a single punch on the undefeated boxing superstar.
However, there are those that are backing “The Notorious” who believe that he can pull off upset. A few people from the world of combat sports believe that if McGregor has a shot at winning, it will come early on in the fight. The last man to fight Floyd Mayweather in the ring, Andre Berto believes there are two scenarios for the fight.
“Floyd’s gonna do what Floyd does,” said Berto. “Floyd’s gonna you know, embarrass him, out-box him. You know, make him look silly and just break him down and later on maybe stopping him over the 12-round span. Or, I believe Conor is gonna figure out you know, figure out that timing and sit back on a strong left hand and catch Floyd. It’s either one or the other.”
It will sure be interesting as the world will all have to see if the quickness, agility, and speed of the best boxer of this generation is all still there in “Money” Mayweather.
How do you think Floyd Mayweather is looking two months out from the massive fight everyone is talking about? Will Floyd still look untouchable in the ring? Or will Conor McGregor shock the world and undoubtedly become the king of sports by defeating the boxing pound-for-pound great? Let’s get your thoughts in the comment section!
