VIDEO | Controversial sparring session between Muay Thai champ and Sage Northcutt

Wednesday afternoon Muay Thai champion Ilya Grad posted on his Instagram about a recent training session he had with UFC welterweight star Sage Northcutt ahead of Northcutt’s UFC 200 fight.

The recollection was not a good one, with Grad describing issues with Northcutt’s father, who is also his coach. Grad explained that Northcutt’s father accused him of trying to hurt Northcutt, and then stopping the sparring session because he was allegedly going too hard on ‘Super Sage’.

Footage has now emerged of the sparring session between the two, and by the looks of things, Grad is the one sparring with less intensity!
