Weidman (14-5 MMA) entered tonight’s event headliner looking to rebound this after suffering a knockout loss to Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza in his most recent effort at UFC 230.

The former UFC interim welterweight champion, Covington, will challenge Kamaru Usman for the promotion undisputed welterweight title at this December’s blockbuster pay-per-view event in Las Vegas.
Greg Hardy issues statement following no-contest ruling at UFC Boston

UFC Heavyweight Greg Hardy was awarded a unanimous decision victory over Ben Sosoli on the main card of tonight’s UFC Boston event. However, shortly after the conclusion of tonight’s fight card, Yahoo Sports Kevin Iole reported that the controversial fight had been changed to a no-contest.

Tonight’s heavyweight bout between former NFL player Greg Hardy and promotional newcomer Ben Sosoli has officially been ruled a no-contest. The controversial contest was initially ruled a unanimous decision victory (29-28 x3) for ‘The Prince of War’, however that ruling has quickly been changed by the commission.

Francis Ngannou expresses frustration with UFC and lack of a fight

Francis Ngannou, one of the top heavyweights in the UFC, is looking for a fight and he’s expressing his frustration with the promotion and their lack of getting him an opponent. In a recent interview with Farah Hannoun of MMA Junkie, Ngannou was very open about his frustration as the second-ranked heavyweight in the UFC, but not being able to get an opponent. Currently riding a three fight winning streak, Ngannou does not have an opponent lined up and told MMA Junkie that he wants an answer from the UFC about their plans for him.

Michael Bisping caught wind of Conor McGregor allegedly being banned from a club and he isn’t exactly sold on the story. A report from Insider.com claims that McGregor’s entourage has been accused of forcing a bottle service girl into their SUV after spending some time inside Delilah, a restaurant/club in Los Angeles. The report claims that one eyewitness said you could see “fear” in the eyes of the bottle girl as she was allegedly put over McGregor’s shoulder and then passed onto another member of the “Notorious” one’s entourage.

UFC welterweight Tyron Woodley called out Canelo Alvarez on social media, telling the boxing superstar that he will knock him out if they fight in a boxing match. Woodley recently spoke to TMZ and expressed his interest in boxing Alvarez, widely considered to be one of the best pound-for-pound boxers in the world. On Friday, the former UFC welterweight champion took it a step further and hit up Alvarez on Twitter, telling him directly that he wants to fight him.
