Former UFC champion Ronda Rousey has reportedly informed the WWE of her soon-to-be departure. Rousey went full-time with the WWE in 2018 after sporadic appearances for a couple of years following her departure from MMA and the UFC. After Ronda Rousey suffered a knockout loss to Amanda Nunes in 2016, she left the sport and in 2018 told Ellen DeGeneres that she likely would never make a comeback.

Paul Heyman doesn’t see a fight between Conor McGregor and Roman Reigns ending well for the Irishman. After Endeavor bought WWE and merged them with the UFC, McGregor tweeted a photo of himself holding a UFC and WWE belt. Heyman then took a shot at him to which the Irishman fired back saying he would break his jaw in three different places.

Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel has confirmed that Dana White and Vince McMahon will continue to have key roles in UFC and WWE. Earlier this week, Endeavor made the blockbuster announcement that they had purchased a 51% stake in WWE. In addition to that, it was revealed that WWE and UFC would be forming a new publicly listed company together.

Conor McGregor and Paul Heyman squared off on social media last night following the news that UFC and WWE may be forming a new publicly traded company. Yesterday, news broke that Endeavor have reportedly purchased WWE. As many will know, Endeavor also bought the Ultimate Fighting Championship back in 2016 for a fee of around $4 billion.

Paul challenged Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in the main event of Crown Jewel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia this past Saturday. Paul’s performance has been heavily praised, as many feel he has the “It” factor in the wrestling business. Ultimately, Reigns emerged victorious after hitting a superman punch followed by the Spear.

UFC Hall of Famer Daniel Cormier was involved in the main event of WWE Extreme Rules this past Saturday night. Cormier was the special guest referee for the Fight Pit match between former UFC fighter Matt Riddle and Seth “Freakin” Rollins. During the match, Riddle and Rollins quickly learned that “DC” isn’t to be played with. At one point, both men shoved Cormier out of the way and the former two-division UFC champion pushed back at both men and got in their faces to let them know he was the law.

The former WWE champion and recent AEW addition, Punk (0-1 with 1 no-contest UFC), made two Octagon appearances between September of 2016 and June of 2018. The Chicago native suffered a submission loss to Mickey Gall in his first effort and wound up being outpointed by Mike Jackson his second time out.

Former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar dismantled John Cena following the conclusion of WWE SummerSlam in his return to pro wrestling. Lesnar made his return to professional wrestling on Saturday night when he made his comeback at WWE Summerslam. The return was a big surprise for fans, but also a pleasant surprise as Lesnar is one of the biggest superstars in the professional wrestling world, not to mention a former UFC world champion, to boot. On Saturday night at Summerslam, Lesnar returned to the WWE ring and, after the show went off the air, he went on to slam Cena into oblivion in a move that only the fans who were sitting there ringside got to see.
