The Bellator welterweight contender is fresh off his split-decision loss to Logan Storley last month at Bellator 281. Many figured that Page would likely take another bout in MMA following the loss to get back into title contention.

Michael Page will be going sans gloves for his next fight. On Thursday, Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) took to Twitter to announce Page has signed a one-fight deal to headline BKFC 27 on August 20 against Mike Perry. The event will take place in London and according to reports, this is a one-off for Page who is still under Bellator contract.

Alan Belcher is set to headline his first BKFC event since coming out of retirement. After Belcher dropped a technical decision to Michael Bisping at UFC 159 in 2013, he proceeded to retire from the sport due to an eye injury he sustained in the fight. After years away from the fight game, ‘The Talent’ decided to sign on with BKFC in 2021, a move which he says needed to happen.
Former UFC title challenger John Dodson signs with BKFC

John Dodson is the latest ex-UFC fighter to join Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship. On Friday, BKFC took to social media to announce they have signed Dodson to a multi-fight deal. The date and who he will fight in his debut is uncertain but he will likely compete in the bantamweight division which is 135lbs, the champion of that weight class is Johnny Bedford.

While it may not exactly be everyone’s cup of tea, BKFC has served as an important combat sports alternative in the last few years through their bare-knuckle boxing style. He also challenged for gold on three different occasions, coming up short against Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor.

Mendes hasn’t fought since 2018 at UFC 232 and he later retired in the summer of 2019. ‘Money’ recently announced his intention to return and signed with BKFC where he will face Joshuah Alvarez in a 155-pound bout on Feb. 19 at BKFC: Knucklemania 2.
