Jake Paul is shooting down Nate Diaz’s request for a rematch in boxing but says he is willing to do an MMA fight.

Jake Paul and Nate Diaz

The American YouTuber, Jake Paul, and MMA Legend, Nate Diaz got in the ring at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas on August 5th of this year. The outcome was a unanimous decision win (98-91, 98-91, and 97-92) for the 26 year old Paul.

Paul announced he would be returning to the ring in mid-December, but an opponent has yet to be named.

Diaz took that opportunity on social media to state:

“Rematch December. You ain’t got nobody to fight.”

“So I’ll beat your ass Dec 15th.”

Diaz even posted a flyer promoting the rematch in the ring.

According to ‘TMZ’, ‘The Problem Child’s’ MVP (Most Valuable Promotions) issued an official response to Diaz’s public request for a boxing sequel on Monday … slamming the door on his hopes of avenging his loss back in August.

Taking to ‘X’, MVP stated:

“For the record: Jake Paul will not be boxing Nate Diaz again. Nate Diaz and Jake Paul have received an offer from @PFLMMA to rematch in MMA in the SmartCage. Jake Paul has accepted the offer.”

With the news from the PFL promotion that Paul has accepted the offer, we now wait to see if Diaz will accept the deal.

Paul on the ‘Full Send’ podcast, claimed Diaz was afraid of taking him on in MMA because it would be a ‘lose-lose’ situation for the 38-year-old.

Diaz took to ‘X’ with the following response to Paul:

“You’re full of sh*t. I didn’t ask for sh*t. I’ll fight you tomorrow in MMA. The problem is you suck and I don’t work for pu**yFL dumbass, you do. Rematch is in boxing, trilogy is in MMA. You need time to train anyway. You suck, New Year’s Eve is good”

Would you like to see Nate Diaz vs. Jake Paul II in the boxing ring? Or, would you prefer to see them battle it out in MMA?
