In the main event of UFC Kansas City, Holloway scored a unanimous decision win over ‘The Almighty’. In the process, the Hawaiian ended Allen’s 12-fight winning streak and got back on the winning track.

Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia had a nice night of business over the weekend. ‘Tank’ and ‘KingRy’ collided in the main event of a Showtime pay-per-view on Saturday night. The bout was viewed as one of the biggest boxing matches of the year going in, and it lived up to the hype. In the lightweight showcase, Davis scored an early knockdown in round two.

Mayweather’s promotion released a press release on Wednesday announcing that ‘Money’ will face MMA fighter John Gotti III in an exhibition bout on June 11 at the FLA Live Arena in Sunrise, Florida. A formal announcement will be announced Thursday, according to the press release.

De La Hoya is Garcia’s longtime promoter and he was vocal about how confident he was in ‘King Ry’ to get the KO against Davis and become boxing’s bigger star. Unfortnately for him, it was Davis winning by a seventh-round body shot TKO.
