The former three-division 11-0 boxing champion and two-time Olympic gold medalist joined MMA as a PFL lightweight in 2021. The tournament formatted promotion currently has Shields on the outside looking in as she keeps gaining experience after successfully debuting in June with a third-round TKO against Brittney Elkin.

Former UFC champion Vitor Belfort fired back at critics of the recent Evander Holyfield boxing match for Triller Fight Club. Belfort fought Holyfield last month in a controversial professional boxing match for Triller Fight Club. The controversy was two-fold. One, because Holyfield took the fight on short notice for Oscar De La Hoya, and two because Holyfield is 58 years old. Not shockingly, Holyfield was finished in the first round with strikes. There have been plenty of critics towards Belfort and Triller Fight Club since then, and now Belfort is firing back at them.

MMA legend Wanderlei Silva called out fellow Brazilian mixed martial artist Vitor Belfort for a rematch in the boxing ring. Silva and Belfort have never seen eye-to-eye. The pair first met way back at UFC Brazil in October 1998, with Belfort finishing Silva with a first-round knockout. The two then coached TUF Brazil in 2012 and were supposed to fight in a rematch, but the fight was canceled due to injuries. But even a decade later, these two do still not like each other and they continue to take shots at each other whenever they are able to get the chance to.

In a recent interview with BetWay, Mendez was asked how he believes a boxing match between McGregor and Paul would go. According to the longtime coach, he believes Paul has several advantages in a boxing match against McGregor, and he explained why.

In the lead-up to their boxing match, they agreed that the loser of the fight would get a tattoo. Yet, in the ring, Paul said if Woodley got the tattoo he would get the rematch, but time passed. Yet, finally, the former UFC welterweight champ got it, and the YouTuber mocked him in a YouTube video.

UFC president Dana White and boxing legend Oscar De La Hoya went at it on Instagram over the recent Alexander Volkanovski comments. De La Hoya made a comment following UFC 266 last weekend to Volkanovski, suggesting that the UFC featherweight champion is underpaid. White did not like that De La Hoya made the comments that he did about a fighter he has under contract, and the UFC president shot back, suggesting that De La Hoya faked getting COVID-19 in order to get out of his Triller Fight Club boxing match against Vitor Belfort earlier this month. We all know that White and De La Hoya do not see eye-to-eye and this is just another example.

Checked out how the pros reacted after former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley got his “I love Jake Paul” tattoo on his middle finger. Woodley fought Paul last month in a professional boxing match and he lost a split decision. As part of the fun leading up to the big fight, the loser of the match was supposed to get a tattoo of the winner’s name on their body. However, even though Woodley lost the fight via split decision, he instead used the tattoo as a bargaining chip in order to get the rematch with Paul that he wanted. So he decided to finally get the tattoo this past weekend, and the reaction from the MMA community and even in the boxing community was quite amusing.

Woodley and Paul met last month in a high-profile boxing match in Cleveland, Ohio, and the stakes were high. Not only was there a lot of money and pride on the line, but the loser of the fight was also supposed to get a tattoo of the winner’s name on their body. However, after Paul was announced as the winner by split decision, Woodley said that he would only get the tattoo if Paul agreed to an immediate rematch. It’s been a month since the fight and there have been no signs that Paul has agreed to fight Woodley right away again, but Woodley made a rematch more interesting by deciding to get the tattoo.

Volkanovski defeated Brian Ortega in an absolute war that won “Fight of the Night” in the UFC 266 main event. For Volkanovski, it was another tremendous performance as he improved to 10-0 in the UFC and a 20-fight wins streak overall. It’s getting to the point where he is becoming one of the best MMA fighters in the world, and he should be compensated like he is. That’s why De La Hoya took to social media on Saturday night after Volkanovski beat Ortega, to tell him that he should be getting paid more for his wars.

Paul said earlier this week that he has made two offers to Fury, which the 22-year-old brother of heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury reportedly declined. Paul then said that he would step up his offer to $1 million and he is now waiting to hear what Fury says to his latest offer. However, it appears that Fury is not interested in making only $1 million for the fight, when, as far as Fury goes, the fight against Paul will “gross millions and millions” of dollars.

YouTuber-turned-boxer Logan Paul says he knows who his next opponent is for his next boxing match, but he shot down an Anderson Silva fight. Paul most recently stepped into the ring back in June when he fought legendary boxer, Floyd Mayweather, to a draw in an exhibition bout. Paul has made it clear that he intends to step back into the boxing ring for another fight, but so far, we haven’t heard who his opponent will be. There were some rumblings that it may have been Silva, but after “The Spider” knocked out Tito Ortiz, it appears that Paul is now pursuing other opponents.

Woodley and Paul met last month in a boxing match in Cleveland, Ohio, and Paul ended up winning the fight via split decision. Because Paul won the fight, Woodley was supposed to get the tattoo, but instead, he used it as a bargaining chip to secure a rematch. Woodley told Paul that if he agreed to the rematch, that he would get the tattoo. But at this point, Paul has not accepted the rematch with Woodley as he’s currently pursuing a fight against Tommy Fury in boxing instead. However, it appears that Woodley wants to be a man of his word and honor his bet with Paul to get the tattoo saying that he loves his opponent.

De La Hoya and Mayweather first met in May 2007, with Mayweather winning a split decision that night to capture the WBC light middleweight title. Now, almost 15 years later after the fact, De La Hoya wants to rematch Mayweather. Speaking to TMZ Sports in a recent interview, the legendary boxer offered Mayweather $100 million if he would take the rematch against him.
