Dana White was on hand to watch his newest signee Michael Chandler make his Octagon debut against Dan Hooker at UFC 257. Chandler (22-5 MMA) was making his UFC debut after scoring back-to-back knockouts in his most recent Bellator appearances. In his most previous effort back in August, Michael needed just over two minutes to finish former UFC champion Benson Henderson.

Dana White has provided an update on reigning lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov following the conclusion of UFC 257. The UFC President has been busy attempting to lure the undefeated ‘Eagle’ back into the Octagon for one final fight. The Russian retired from fighting following his submission victory over Justin Gaethje this past October at UFC 254 citing the death of his father.

A few pro fighters had some fun with Dana White this evening by taunting the UFC boss with tweets about illegally streaming UFC 257. Earlier this week White had announced that he had caught an illegal streamer that the promotion had been targeting. The UFC President also revealed that he would have a “surprise” for potential pirates looking to steal ‘McGregor vs. Poirier 2‘.

Rap mogul Eminem had the mixed martial arts world buzzing on Thursday after a video surfaced of him dissing UFC president Dana White. In the video, Eminem and Dana White were featured on SportsCenter where ‘Slim Shady’ proceeded to tell the brash UFC boss that his “opinion doesn’t matter”. The clip quickly made the rounds on social media and began catching some serious traction after it was shared by Brendan Schaub on Twitter.

UFC president Dana White tried to convince UFC lightweight champion Nurmagomedov to fight Conor McGregor again in a newly-released clip. White and Nurmagomedov, along with Din Thomas, took in the recent UAE Warriors event in Abu Dhabi, one that featured former UFC middleweight Eric Spicely getting knocked out in an absolutely devastating fashion. During the filming of the latest episode of “Dana White: Lookin’ For A Fight,” White spoke to Nurmagomedov about fighting McGregor again. In the video clip below, you can hear White trying to coax Nurmagomedov into taking the rematch.

UFC president Dana White called this weekend’s rematch between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier the biggest non-title fight in UFC history. UFC 257: Poirier vs. McGregor 2 takes place on Fight Island in Abu Dhabi on Saturday night. Unsurprisingly, White has already said that the pay-per-view is trending in the right direction, and it could potentially sell upwards of two million PPVs. Even though there is no title on the line, the fact that McGregor is competing is automatically a huge boost for the PPV, and the fact that he’s fighting a stud like Poirier makes this weekend’s main event a must-watch.

UFC middleweight Alessio Di Chirico thanked UFC president Dana White for his “Performance of the Night” bonus after initially snubbing him. Di Chirico picked up a huge upset win when he finished rising star Joaquin Buckley via first-round KO on the UFC on ABC 1 main card. The Italian had lost three straight fights coming into the Buckley matchup and many fans and media believed this was a set-up fight designed for Buckley to continue building his star power. Unfortunately for Buckley, he was on the wrong end of a highlight-reel knockout when Di Chirico kicked him in the face with his shin.

UFC president Dana White claimed that Khabib Nurmagomedov “isn’t interested” in a potential fight with UFC legend Georges St-Pierre. Nurmagomedov was expected to give White a ‘yes or no’ answer in regards to the lightweight champ’s potential comeback, but that didn’t happen. White said on the UFC on ABC 1 broadcast that we will find out more about the Russian’s plans for a comeback following UFC 257 next week. According to White, the lightweight champion is keeping a very close eye on the headliners Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier, making no mention of the legend St-Pierre.

UFC president Dana White admitted that he was bothered by how much damage Calvin Kattar took against Max Holloway at UFC on ABC 1. Kattar was on the wrong end of a historic beating at the hands, elbows, feet and, knees of Holloway, who systematically beat Kattar down over the course of five rounds, setting numerous UFC records in the process. Although there are many ways to win in MMA, by about the third or fourth round it became clear that Kattar had no chance of winning this fight. But his corner didn’t throw in the towel despite their fighter taking incredible damage in the match.
