Brock Lesnar “absolutely” open to rematch with Cain Velasquez
At UFC 200, both Brock Lesnar, and Cain Velasquez returned to the Octagon.
For Lesnar, the return was a much more difficult one, with it being nearly 5 years since the former heavyweight champion stepped inside the Octagon. For Velasquez on the other hand, it was the first time he set foot inside the Octagon since his UFC 188 loss to Fabricio Werdum.
Both men emerged victorious, with Velasquez picking up a spectacular TKO win over Travis Browne, and Lesnar picking up a unanimous decision win over Mark Hunt.
Following the fight, Lesnar was asked if he would be open to a rematch with Velasquez, who he lost to in 2010.
“Sure, absolutely. I trained specifically for Mark Hunt. I trained six weeks for Mark Hunt, but if I decide I’m going to do this a little further, I’d have to sharpen my skills, but yeah.”
