VIDEO | Brock Lesnar pulls a fast one and hammers F5 on Goldberg at WWE Raw
Although former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar has hung up the MMA gloves after being suspended for a year after testing positive for banned subtances, “The Beast Incarnate” can still be seen doing his thing in the WWE ring.
On Monday night’s Raw, Lesnar and newly crowned Universal Champion Goldberg met in the ring so that Lesnar could offer his “congratulations” to the new champion. The two set to face off in their third career match at WrestleMania 33 for Goldberg’s WWE Universal Championship title.
Goldberg came out and thanked his fans and addressed his win over Kevin Owens at WWE Fastlane to become the Universal Champion until Lesnar and his right-hand man Paul Heyman made their way into the ring.
Heyman hyped up the two wrestler’s upcoming WrestleMania match saying, “on April 2nd at WrestleMania, both of you will enter the ring. Both of you need to win but only one walks out the ring as the winner. And, the other sir, will walk out of the ring as the loser at WrestleMania.”
Goldberg then told Lesnar, “2-0,” of his two wins over Lesnar from when they met way back in 2004 at WrestleMania 20 and again in 2016 at Survivor Series.
“At the end of the match, there will be a new, reigning, defending, undisputed, Universal Champion,” Heyman continued. “And, his name is Brock Lesnar!”
Lesnar then stuck his hand out to shake Goldberg’s hand where the Universal Champion declined the gesture.
Heyman continued, “when the match is over, they can all look at you and say, ‘There he is! Brock’s bitch!'”
As Goldberg turned his head slightly to Heyman, Lesnar put on his attack as the champion was caught off guard, getting slammed by Lesnar’s finishing F5.
